Following a call for tenders, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority(RAKTDA) selects Thomas Marko & Associés to manage its media relations and influence strategy in France. Located in the north of the United Arab Emirates, 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport, Ras Al Khaimah aims to raise its profile among French travelers by promoting its contrasting natural landscapes and unique tourism offering, between sea, desert and mountains. The agency will support the destination in its positioning on the French market, to promote its unique identity and growing appeal.

A "nature" destination on the rise

Ras Al Khaimah, one of the most dynamic Emirates in the United Arab Emirates, recorded a record year in 2024 with 1.28 million visitors, 12% growth in tourism revenues and a 40% increase in the number of MICE visitors.

The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), established in 2011 under the aegis of the government, is leading the Emirate's development strategy. Its aim: to make Ras Al Khaimah a world-class destination for both leisure and business tourism, by promoting sustainable investment and improving residents' quality of life.

Buoyed by sustained hotel development, the organization of international events, an increase in direct air links and a strong commitment to responsible tourism, the Emirate aims to attract ever more travelers and is counting on France as a strategic market. Ras Al Khaimah aims to welcome more than 3.5 million visitors by 2030 and establish itself as a must-see destination in the Middle East.
